KAMLOOPS — Longtime Kamloops school trustee Gerald Watson says he’s running for Kamloops council in the upcoming by-election.
Watson was first elected to the Kamloops-Thompson School District Board of Education in 2002, and has been re-elected four times.
Watson becomes the fourth council candidate, with Kevin Krueger, Bill Sarai and Stephen Karpuk.
The by-election is expected to be held in late September.
