KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP took down a large-scale marijuana grow operation in a home in Upper Sahali Friday.

Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Edward Preto confirmed approximetly one-thousand marijuana plants were seized from a home on Glencoe Place.

According to neighbours, numerous complaints were made to police about the home throughout the years but they were told the occupants had a medical license.

Preto says the license had recently expired which led to Friday’s raid.
