KAMLOOPS — Get fit for free.

That’s what the City of Kamloops is offering today in celebration of National Health and Fitness Day.

Carly Rowsome, Healthy Living and Wellness Coordinator, says there are numerous free activities families can take part in throughout the city as part of the fifth annual event that aims to get people off the couch.

“We’re offering free access to the Tournament Capital Centre during regular business hours on Saturday,” said Rowsome. “One thing to keep in mind is that our pool is closed because we have a swim meet that’s happening so we’re offering access to the Brock outdoor pool for free as well.”
