Boil water advisory issued for parts of Sun Rivers

KAMLOOPS — Corix Utilities has issued a boil water advisory for certain sections of Sun Rivers.
The company says its water distribution system has lost pressure, leading to the potential for contamination.
Corix says bacteria, viruses or parasites may enter the system due to the lack of pressure, but those can be killed by boiling the water before using it.
The areas affected include Golf Ridge, Belmonte, Visao, Sillaro, and homes in the 2000-block of Sun Rivers Drive.
