River Forecast Centre issues flood watch for Central and Southern Interior

KAMLOOPS — The River Forecast Centre is issuing a flood watch for streams and rivers around the Central and Southern Interior. 

Areas under the watch include the Coldwater River, Nicola River, and Bonaparte River and small streams and rivers in the Kamloops, Cache Creek, and Merritt areas.

The Shuswap region is also under the flood watch. 

Thundershowers are expected to bring heavy rain, with a forecast of 20-30 mm through tomorrow.
