New playoff formats for three sports in Canada West

KAMLOOP — Canada West has announced new playoff formats for basketball, volleyball and women’s soccer.
There will no longer be Final Four tournament in either basketball or volleyball.
Conference 12 team playoffs will lead to a single conference championship game, ensuring the host competes for conference gold.
Volleyball will go from seven to eight playoff teams.
Twelve teams will qualify for women’s soccer playoffs with four teams advancing to a final four.
