Five WolfPack players named CCBC allstars
KELOWNA — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack have had a number of players honored as Canadian Collegiate Baseball Conference all-stars for the 2017 season.
At their annual awards banquet held Tuesday (May 9) in Kelowna, BC, the Pack had two players chosen to the first team and three more named to the second team.
Named to the first team were outfielder/DH Ethan Mohan (Calgary, AB) and pitcher Tyler Hodder (Fort McMurray, AB). It’s Mohan’s third straight all-star selection. Last year, he was a second team all-star after being named a first team player two years ago.
In 2017, Mohan led the league in triples (6), was third in the league in homers (3), third in runs batted in (27), fourth in the CCBC in batting average (32-78, .4010) and was tied for seventh in the league in the number of hits (32).
