Coralee Oakes (Liberal) declared elected in Cariboo-North

QUESNELL, B.C. — Coralee Oakes is returning to Victoria.

The BC Liberal was elected in Cariboo-North.

This will be the second consecutive term for Oakes, who was elected in 2013 over longtime MLA Bob Simpson.

She served in Premier Christy Clark’s cabinet as Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development.
