One in hospital after accident in Barnhartvale Thursday night

KAMLOOPS — One person taken to hospital with serious injuries following an accident last night in the 5900 block Barnhartvale Road.

Emergency crews were on scene for over an hour dealing with the incident.

One vehicle wound up on its side, the other rolled and landed right side up. One driver okay, the other taken to RIH for treatment.

No indication at this point what caused the accident. 

And emergency crews were on scene last night on the Okanagan Connector just west of Elkhart Road after a multi-vehicle accident.

Not much known at this point, except that a semi was involved and was blocking traffic for a time. The road has since fully reopened.
