RiverDogs go 3-for-4 to begin the season

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Riverdogs won three of four to open their B.C. midget baseball league season.

On Saturday the Riverdogs came back from a four run deficit and on three runs in the bottom of the 7th defeated the Vancouver Mounties 7-6.

In the second game of that series the Riverdogs scored eight runs in the third in a 14-4 five inning mercy win.

The ‘Dogs then split two games against Tri-City on Sunday — with a 12-6 win in the opener and a 7-5 loss in the second game.
