KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Mayor and North-Thompon Liberal Candidate Peter Milobar is calling the NDP’s election platform ‘too good to be true.’

NDP Leader John Horgan’s promises include $10 a day daycare, ditching the Port Mann and Golden Ears bridge tolls, increasing welfare rates by $100 and providing no-interest loans for secondary institutions.

Horgan says tax increases to the wealthy and corporations, as well getting rid of the Liberals LNG Prosperity Fund, will create new revenue to help fund the promises.

Milobar says it’s a slippery slope.
