Multi-million dollar expansion announced at Sun Peaks

SUN PEAKS, B.C. — Sun Peaks Resort is pumping millions of dollars into growing a pair of its facilities.

The resort announced this morning it will double the size of its mid-mountain Sunburst Lodge, and nearly double its village base Bento’s Lodge.

The lodges will also be completely remodeled with new food and beverage options.

In a release, Sun Peaks Vice-President and General Manager Darcy Alexander says the resort’s strong performance over the past few years has put it in position to make these investments.
