OTTAWA —  The jobless rate hit a two-year low in February.
Statistics Canada reports the economy added 15-thousand, 300 jobs last month, blowing past analyst estimates for a gain of just 25-hundred jobs.
And most of the gains were in full-time work.
The unemployment rate dipped two-tenths of a point to 6.6 per cent.
B.C. continues to lead all provinces with the best unemployment rate in the country. Good news for the B.C. Liberals as the election looms

The B.C. rate dropped another half point to site at 5.1 percent. Manitoba has the next best rate at 5.8   percent.

Good news for Alberta. While their rate is still high, at 8.3 percent, it’s down half a point from last month.
