More skiers go out of bounds at Sun Peaks

KAMLOOPS —  Kamloops Search and Rescue crews had to be mobilized again last night after some skiiers went out of bounds at Sun Peaks.

But fortunately, they didn’t have to deploy, as the skiiers were found by RCMP safe and sound.

The skiiers left the marked trails, and KSAR crews were called out, but they were able to stand down within an hour when the skiiers were located.

They were in the Henderson Creek area. This is the same area that a number of skiiers and snowboarders went missing a week ago.
