TRAIL, B.C. — The Merritt Centennials were devoured by the Trail Smoke Eaters, losing 8-5 at the Cominco Arena Friday night.
Zach Risteau, Nicholas Wicks, Stephan Seeger, Zach Court, and Brett Jewell scored for the Cents.
The two teams face off again Saturday at the Nicola Valley Memorial Area.
Puck drop is 7 p.m.
