KAMLOOPS — A fundraising campaign has been launched for a Kamloops family who encountered tragedy over the weekend.
According to a GoFundMe page, Matt and Anna Grandia were on their way to the Lower Mainland along with their children Sunday to begin a family vacation.
When they stopped along the highway and got out of their vehicle to help victims of a crash, Matt and Anna were hit themselves.
The author of the GoFundMe page says the two were rushed to hospital in critical condition, while their children are unhurt.
