KAMLOOPS — The Blazers erased a 4-2 third period deficit to comeback and beat the Prince George Cougars 5-4 in overtime.

Most of the scoring came in the game’s first period as the teams combined to score six goals in the first 13:18 of the game.

The Cougars took an early 2-0 lead, but the Blazers cut the lead to 2-1 on Lane Bauer’s first goal as a Blazer on the power play.

Brendan Guhle scored twice in the period off the rush, but again the Blazers came back with a goal from Collin Shirley and the Cougars led 4-2 after the first period.
