New Power Rangers trailer showcases Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Lionsgate unveiled a new trailer for the forthcoming Power Rangers today, and Kamloops plays a major role.

Scenes for the movie were shot in the Tournament Capital last spring.

Whereas Kamloops was hard to pick out in previous trailers, the one released today clearly shows scenes shot in the downtown, on the Tk’emlups reserve and around Kamloops Lake.

The film will be released in theatres March 24.
