KAMLOOPS — Connor Ingram made his return to the Kamloops Blazers net with 24 saves in a 4-1 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Tuesday night.

Garrett Pilon had the game’s first goal midway through the first period. He stole a puck from behind the Warriors goal and slid one past goaltender Zach Sawchenko for his 10th of the season. The Blazers outshot the Warriors 10-4 in the first period and led 1-0.

The Blazers lone goal of the second period came on an early power play off the stick of Joe Gatenby as he tallied his sixth of the season and the Blazers led 2-0 after two periods.

Again, the Blazers scored on an early power play as Deven Sideroff scored his 26th goal of the season and the Blazers led 3-0. Rudolfs Balcers made it 4-0 on a great net drive with his 24th goal. Thomas Foster broke Ingram’s shutout with a power play goal, but the Blazers went on to a 4-1 win.

With the win, the Blazers improved to 27-16-1-2 on the season. The Blazers outshot the Warriors 36-25 on the night. The Blazers were 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Warriors were 1-for-3.
