KAMLOOPS — In the midst of another cold snap New Life Community is issuing an emergency appeal for donations.

Executive Director Stan Dueck says being open 24/7 has put some strain on the Outreach Centre’s resources.

“It’s a new year, ” says Dueck, “and we’re starting off behind what we did last year, so anything we can do to kickstart us through this cold snap and into the spring would be awesome.”

Dueck expects the Emergency Shelter beds to fill up in the coming days as the cold weather persists in Kamloops.
