Gunshot fired at home on Tk’emlups Reserve

KAMLOOPS —  RCMP looking this morning for a person who fired a single gunshot into a home on the Tk’emlups Reserve.

Sergeant Darren Michels says about 4:00 AM this morning, police were called to a residence on Kamloopa Road after a report of a single gunshot being heard.

When police arrived, they confirmed a single bullet was lodged in the side of the residence.

Michels says Tk’emlups RCMP are investigating and trying to determine who was responsible for the gunshot.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP or Crimestoppers.

At this point, there’s no indication whether the home was targeted, or whether the shot was fired deliberately or accidentally.

Noone was injured in the incident.
