KAMLOOPS — While Kamloops is relatively calm weather-wise today, that’s not the case for drivers heading out of the city.

Forecaster Ross MacDonald of Environment Canada says snowfall warnings are in place for the high mountain passes.

“If you’re headed east through Rogers Pass and Eagle Pass, we’re going to see upwards of 25 to 35 centimetres by tomorrow morning,” said MacDonald.

“If you’re headed out west, perhaps out to the Coquihalla, some very heavy snow as well expected there, with up to 25 centimetres by tomorrow morning.”
