Alleged drunk driver arrested after hitting parked cars

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are issuing a reminder to drink responsibly after an alleged drunk driver struck several vehicles in downtown Kamloops last night, Dec 16. 

Police received a report around 7:42 p.m. that a number of parked vehicles had been struck by a truck near the 100 block of Seymour Street. 

RCMP located the truck driving near the Halston Connector area and arrested the 30-year-old male driver for impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of an accident. 

The man has been released for an upcoming court date.
