KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue is investigating the cause of a storage unit fire that broke out at the corner of Palmer Forsythe Road and the Southern Yellowhead Highway Friday night.

Kamloops Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Curtis Bossert said crews received the call just after 10:30 p.m

“By the time crews arrived it was fully involved,” said Bossert. “Crews were able to put it out. It was an unoccupied unit on private property so nobody was hurt.”

Bossert says crews are still on scene monitoring the situation.
