Blazers beat Wheat Kings 4-0 at home

KAMLOOPS — Connor Ingram had a steady night in goal to record his second shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday night to improve to 17-12-1-0 on the season.

The Blazers had another solid night from their top line as Rudolfs Balcers and Deven Sideroff each recorded a goal and an assist. 

Matt Revel had the game winner in the first period and Scott Mahovlich scored his first career WHL goal late in the third period. 

The Blazers finished the night 1-for-5 on the power play and 2-for-2 on the penalty kill. The Blazers outshot the Wheat Kings 38-29 in the game. 

Connor Ingram will now head to Canada’s World Junior Camp which starts next weekend in Blainville, Quebec. Through 24 games this season, Ingram has an astonishing 2.12 goals against average and a .935 save percentage. 

The Blazers will now head on the road for six straight games against Central Division opponents. They’ll start their road trip in Edmonton on December 10th.
