Mayor Milobar mustache you for help

KAMLOOPS — Today is the last day to donate to Mayor Peter Milobar and the City of Kamloops team battling Prince George in the Movember challenge.

Milobar is out of the country right now, but says he even though his chin is a little more bare today, Kamloops and Prince George are neck and neck.

“I got rid of the goatee, and am down to a bit more of a handlebar mustache in the last day of the Movember challenge. Hopefully we can stay ahead of Prince George. The hope is that we can continue on, every $5 or $10 donation makes a difference.” 

Money raised goes to fight men’s illnesses such as prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

As of deadline, Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall was ahead of Milobar in fundraising, but the overall team contest had Kamloops ahead of PG.
