Kamloops Minor Baseball to host Western Championships

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops will play host to Western Canada Baseball championships in five age categories next summer.

They are 14 and under girls, boys double “AA” in U-13, U-15 and U-18 and boys triple “AAA” in Under-15.

Kamloops Minor Baseball president Chris Balison says it’s a big feather in the cap for the Tournament Capital and KMBA.

Balison says Kamloops will be fielding teams in three of the age divisions.

Baseball B.C. executive director David Laing says Kamloops Minor Baseball is the single best organization in the province when it comes to hosting championships at any level.
