KAMLOOPS — It was a strong night of Basketball for the WolfPack last night.

The TRU women’s team won their second game of the Canada West season, beating the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO) Heat 67-60 at the Tournament Capital Centre.

TRU forward Emily Vilac had her best Canada West performance with 17 points and six rebounds.

“They say basketball is a game of runs,” said TRU Assistant Coach Chuck Ferguson.  “That was a tough one. I thought our defense in the second half was key. We were getting stops and playing with more intensity. It gave us a few extra options and ball possessions. That was critical.”
