KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Rural RCMP say black ice led to a crash east of the city this morning (Nov. 22).

It happened at about 6:40 a.m., three kilometres east of the Lafarge Bridge on Shuswap Road.

Police say a man driving a GMC pickup hit black ice, causing the vehicle to roll several times before coming to rest back on its wheels.

The driver was taken to Royal Inland Hospital with head and chest injuries, but RCMP say he is in good condition.
