KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Rural RCMP have a warning for Sun Rivers residents.

Officers say since Monday, a pair of thieves have been going through vehicles in the community, regardless of whether those vehicles are locked.

Police say the two typically begin their work after 3:00 a.m., stealing items such as wallets, computers and cash.

One witness reported seeing the two using a ‘slim jim’ to unlock vehicles before grabbing their contents.
