ASHCROFT, B.C. — After 10 days of renovations, the Canada Post office in the Village of Ashcroft has offically re-opened.

The building has been around since the early 1980s, and Canada Post earmarked Ashcroft as a priority building that required some upgrades.

It’s an office residents visit on a daily basis to pick up their mail and parcels, and talk about things happening in the village. With some small communities losing their post office, residents say the revival of Ashcroft’s is important for the community.
