Two people arrested in Vancouver after woman shot in back of taxi

VANCOUVER – A woman in the back of a cab has been injured in an early-morning shooting in Vancouver.

Police say two people of interest were arrested.

The 29-year-old passenger in the taxi is recovering from what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened in the Gastown neighbourhood at about 5 a.m.

Police have not said if the woman was targeted or what may have led to the shooting.
