KAMLOOPS — After lagging behind the 2015 pace for much of the year, the Kamloops construction came back in a big way last month.

New numbers from the City of Kamloops Building Inspection Division show $15.8 million in total activity in October.

That’s more than twice the total from last October, and brings the year-to-date total to $141 million, still $14 million behind last year’s pace.

Much of the gains were made in the commercial and multi-family building sectors.
