TRU Volleyball teams open season with losses

KAMLOOPS — The TRU WolfPack volleyball teams began the Canada West season Friday night on home court, against two of the top ranked teams in Canada.

Both local teams were defeated by the University of Alberta. The women’s team lost to the Pandas 3-2 (13-25,25-19,25-18,24-26,16-14), and the men fell 3-0 (25-23,25-16,26-15) to the Golden Bears.

Both TRU volleyball teams will face the same opponents Saturday.
