KAMLOOPS — A teenager charged with stabbing a Kamloops taxi driver this summer has been ordered to stand trial in BC Supreme Court.

19 year old Austin Eyres faces a single count of aggravated assault.

He’s accused of stabbing Kami Cabs driver Cal Huntington early on the morning of August 24, near the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Pleasant Street.

The case will return to court on November 14 to fix a date for the trial to begin.
