Joanisse and Kim win Hub Crown of Curling

KAMLOOPS — Two Kamloops rinks finished in the money but did’nt win the championship at the Hub Crown of Curling.

Corryn Brown in the quarter-finals and Karla Thompson in semi finals both lost to Japan’s Satsuki Fujisawa.

Team Japan then lost to a Korean team in the final.

In the men’s final Dean Joanisse from New Westminster scored one to tie it in the 8th end and then stole the extra end to win 6-4 over Soo Kim from Korea.
