Wolfpack Men’s Soccer beat Trinity Western on home turf

KAMLOOPS — The TRU Wolfpack Men’s soccer team defeated the Trinity Western Spartans 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Hillside Stadium. 

Ryan Glanville scored both goals for TRU in the victory. The first – Glanville’s 8th of the season – came in the 39th minute, on a quick pass in the box from Mitchell Popadynetz. His second came in the 77th minute, when Colton Walker fired a through ball, which sent Glanville in on a breakaway. 

Claye Harsany stopped all four TWU shots he faced for his fifth shutout of the season.

With the win, the Wolfpack keep pace with the University of the Fraser Valley in the Canada West Pacific Division standings, heading into tomorrows matchup with the Cascades. UFV defeated the UBCO Heat in Kelowna by a 1-0 score.
