Soccer legend Lenarduzzi throws support behind 2017 CIS championships at TRU

KAMLOOPS — Another successful WolfPack scholarship breakfast was held Thursday morning at TRU with a packed house.

Canadian soccer legend Bob Lenarduzzi was the guest speaker.

Born in Vancouver Lenarduzzi has lived most of his life there — with stints in the English Football League as a teenager, with the L.A. Aztecs indoor team and the Tacoma Stars.

But most of his professional soccer career has been as a player, coach and executive with the Vancouver 86’ers and Vancouver Whitecaps.

Over the years Lenarduzzi has also developed close ties with Kamloops and Thompson Rivers University.
