Police complete investigation in Vernon’s Polson Park

VERNON, B.C. — Police were in Polson Park today, looking over a couple of sites on a trail north of the hospital that they say are part of an ongoing investigation.

That is an area where homeless residents have been known to set up camps.

The trail was cordoned off to the public early Wednesday morning, and remained that way through most of the day.

Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says nothing more can be said about it at this time.

“It’s an ongoing investigation, and I don’t know for how long that will be left at that, but you would think sooner or later there is going to be some updates as to what the activity was all about,” Moskaluk tells Kiss FM.
