VERNON, B.C. — A jury will start deciding the fate of a North Okanagan murder suspect on Friday (September 23).

57 year old Howard Krewson is accused of the second degree murder of his girlfriend Linda Stewart.

She was found shot to death at her home in Trinity Valley near Lumby in June 2014.

The Crown says Krewson knew what he was doing when he shot Stewart after an argument, but the defence claims Krewson was too drunk and high on drugs to know the consequences of his actions.
