Who’s next for Mayor if Milobar gets elected?

KAMLOOPS — If Mayor Peter Milobar were to win the nomination to represent the BC Liberals in next May’s provincial election, he could take a leave of absence once the writ is dropped by the Lieutenant Governor. Until then, the Mayor could continue to serve in his role with the city, and would not have to make a decision until the results of the 2017 vote are known.

Councillors Tina Lange and Ken Christian were both on hand for Milobar’s announcement today at McArthur Island Park. CFJC Today asked both councillors if they’d be interested in the Mayor’s Chair if and when it became available.
