Dog killed as owner steps into dog fight at park in Langley, B.C.

LANGLEY, B.C. — The RCMP says a dog has died in Langley, B.C., after it attacked another dog and a man in a local park.

In a news release, the RCMP says it’s believed the Cane Corso died while it was being held down by the owner of the dog that was attacked.

Police say they received a report shortly after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday of the Cane Corso attacking a retriever and its owner in Noel Booth Park.

Police say the owner of the dog that was attacked did not require medical attention for his injuries.
