KAMLOOPS — Today is the last day for steak lovers to patronize The Keg Restaurant on Lorne Street.

The eatery is closing its doors after its owners, The Culos Development Group, decided to get out of the restaurant business.

About 60 employees are expected to lose their jobs in the closure.

When the closure was announced in June, a spokesperson said the Culos Group is looking for alternate uses for the building that houses the restaurant, in keeping with the building’s historical status.
