KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Broncos defensive back Jordan Angove is the defensive player of the week in the B.C. Football Conference.

The Broncos lost 16-13 to Vancouver Island last Saturday, but not for a lack of effort on defence, holding the Raiders to just 109 passing yards on 22 attempts.

The defence was led by Angove, who had six tackles, one batted ball and one interception.

It’s the first time this season the Broncos have had a player of the week.
