LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Logan Lake are investigating a stolen ambulance.

Police say the vehicle was taken from a BC Hydro substation this past weekend, along with nearly a kilometre of copper wire.

Corporal Dan Moskaluk says breaking into a hydro substation is extremely dangerous.

“Ourselves, and our hydro utilities company are always, no pun intended, shocked to see these thieves risk their lives and the safety of others by entering these substations. We often have instances of break-and-enters to substations where the thieves will injure themselves or risk electrocution,” explained Moskaluk.
