Kamloops schools fail to impress Fraser Institute

KAMLOOPS — The Fraser Institute has released its annual BC secondary school rankings, and no Kamloops schools appear in the top 75.

Kamloops Christian and St. Ann’s Academy are tied for 76th spot out of 294 schools ranked.

Of schools in the public system, Beattie Secondary is tops in Kamloops at 86.

The top school in the wider region is the private Fountainview Academy in Lillooet, which checked in at number 48.

The Fraser Institute bases its rankings on seven academic categories, including provincial exam results.
