CHASE, B.C. — An Adams Lake man is facing a series of charges after allegedly firing a gun into the air in an attempt to intimidate someone.

RCMP say early yesterday morning, they were alerted by a security company in the community, who said the man was firing a semi-automatic weapon.

Police say the man had been making threats, and fired his gun into the air about 30 times.

After the 54 year old was arrested, officers searched his home and found numerous guns, ammunition, and marijuana.
