Counter-terrorism simulator taking preparedness to next level

KAMLOOPS — A TRU professor, along with a computer science student, are working on a very special project right now at Thompson Rivers University.

It’s a counter-terrorism simulator designed to help police and other authorities better handle crowds and confusion during a riot or terrorist situation.

With the increased number of terrorist attacks taking place around the world in the past several months, it’s a program that could save lives.
