“This residence was previously known to police and it’s believed that this is a targeted incident and that there is no danger to the general public,” Shelkie said.

Police were aided in their investigation by the police dog service and forensic identification section.

“A firearm was seized outside of the residence in the 900-block of 13th Street. Three people from inside the house were detained for safety, and investigation. They have since been released without charges,” said Shelkie.

Shelkie adds witnesses to the incident saw three suspects wearing hoodies fleeing the scene shortly after the shots were fired.

No one was injured.
