BC Coroners Service IDs body found on Kamloops riverbank

KAMLOOPS — The BC Coroners Service has identified the woman whose body was found on the bank of the South Thompson River last week.
She was 53 year old Shirley Marie Thomas of Vancouver.
Thomas was found on the morning of July 12 by a passerby, on the riverbank near the 900-block of Lorne Street.
The cause of Thomas’ death has yet to be determined, but foul play has been ruled out.
